Since 1984, NIELSTORP+ arkitekter has been a leading shaper for the built space in Norway and internationally. The office is an extended partnership that works with forward-looking project management with fully integrated BIM planning at all levels.
The office has designed award-winning living urban areas such as Aker Brygge, Tjuvholmen and Cicignon Park. NIELSTORP+ architects create development that lives around the clock with a mix of functions and good, social meeting places. Current projects
CLEAR VISIBILITY – UPPER VOLSDALSBERGA
This project is named "Fri Sikt" since it provides a panoramic view. The area is aimed at a spectacular view of the fjord and the mountains, which is essential for the design of these homes. read more
Oslo Convention Centre
The majority of the new development area is located on a plateau to the west of the main hall. The plateau is cut off from the rest of the functions of the complex, and it is only from the edge of the plateau that one sees the terraces south of the main hall to the main entrances to the main hall and the conference centre. read more
Rødbanken – Tromsø
The Rødbanken quarter is a quarter in Tromsø. It is located in the old town at the intersection of two main streets and next to the cathedral park. The two renovated older monumental buildings and the new structure join a glass-covered atrium. The new building is designed to compliment the old with similar materials, colors and scale. read more
